“Fatal Collision Claims Life in Brampton”

A fatal collision occurred in Brampton early Sunday, resulting in the death of a man, as confirmed by Peel police. The incident, involving two vehicles, took place at approximately 1:10 a.m. near The Gore Road and Castle Oaks Crossing, according to a social media update by Peel police.

Preliminary findings suggest that an SUV and a minivan were both heading south on The Gore Road when the SUV collided with the minivan at the intersection, causing the SUV to overturn. The male driver, aged in his 20s, was ejected from the SUV and tragically pronounced deceased at the scene by Constable Tyler Bell-Morena.

Following the crash, both York and Peel paramedics attended the scene and transported three individuals with non-life-threatening injuries to a nearby hospital. Authorities have advised residents to steer clear of road closures on The Gore Road stretching from Gardenbrooke Trail to Castle Oaks Crossing.
