A worker lost their life in a tragic event at a gas plant in northeastern British Columbia last month. The incident occurred on August 27 near the Aitken gas plant, which is situated over 120 kilometers northwest of Fort St. John. The individual, a third-party contractor, was fatally injured while carrying out a routine water transfer.
Tourmaline Oil, the largest natural gas producer in Canada as per its official website, confirmed the incident. They promptly informed the RCMP and WorkSafeBC about the tragic occurrence.
